            "Capsules" is the Association's newsletter, published monthly for members; non-members may subscribe for an annual fee of $35.00.

            Content includes information about the Asssociation's conventions and seminars, programs and activities sponsored by CBSA and its Committees, general business and industry news, information about legislation and government regulations affecting coppermetal industry companies, news about company developments and personnel changes, promotions, etc. Articles and other publications are frequently enclosed with the newsletter, or offered for distribution.

III.     Shipment Report -- Published Monthly -- $50.00 annually

           This comprehensive report on servicenters' shipments in a number of key product categories is a "must" for those interested in charting trends in the coppermetal products distribution industry. Both month-to-month and year-to-year comparisons are offered in addition to year-to-date shipment figures. An "analysis letter" accompanies each report.

IV.     "Directory of Brass Mills and Metal Strip Platers" (2005 Edition) -- $25.00

           The book, last published in 1998, reflects the extensive changes which have taken place at the supplier level in the brass mill industry in the interim. It includes comprehensive data on nearly 30 major brass mills, including specialty mills and re-roll and re-draw mills, in the US, Canada, Mexico, France, and Germany.

           For the first time, selected metal strip plater companies that serve the brass industry are included.

           The publication also contains information about the ten leading trade associations serving the Copper and Brass Industry. The audience each organization serves, its aims and objectives, and the types of publications it has available, etc., are all outlined.

            This comprehensive, 344-page text is divided into separate sections -- commercial, technical and sales. Considered "must reading" for anyone buying or selling copper and brass mill products, it contains many charts, illustrations and even technical data.








VI.      Sales Training Course -- $25.00



            This custom-designed sales training course is based upon the "Guide For Marketing -- Copper, Brass, Bronze" text. The home study course consists of separate question and answer booklets. Many distributor and brass mill companies utilize it as an important component of their training programs for both inside and outside sales personnel.



VII.      "Welcome to the Copper and Brass Servicenter" -- Familiarization Video -- $35.00

            This 10-minute video is designed to acquaint viewers with the many functions and services provided by a coppermetal servicenter. The video photography, backed up by lively music and expert narration, outlines basic facts about the red metals, how they are handled in the chain of distribution from producer through fabricator, servicenter and on to the customer. It provides basic information on typical products handled, processing services offered, just-in-time, and many other facts leading to a basic understanding of what is accomplished by coppermetal products distributors.
